back from Pendarvis farm (polaroids above from Typhoon in concert) and feeling very much at sea - who knew a music festival could feel so like home? The last two days of Pickathon have been a whirl of alfalfa breezes, endless fields, forest stages, hours of parking cranky drivers (Friday) and signing in bands and managers (Saturday) - eating fresh organic food with bamboo utensils (alone, a work of art), spontaneously applying henna, and meeting the best people you could ever wish to dance with in a barn. It was impossible to catch all the good music going on, but we definitely caught some spectacular moments, The Black Lillies, Typhoon, and Dr. Dog among them.
tomorrow: wisdom teeth removaltonight: catch the portland poetry slam at backspace (7:30) if you can.
